Frequently Asked Questions

The straight answer is….it depends. Some needs are straightforward and are solved with a modified MS Excel Spreadsheet or an MS Access database. While others may require a custom interface built in Python. Each customers’ needs will be evaluated on their own merit.

We will never ask for confidential or sensitive data. Often times, we may need sample data to develop and test your solution(s) , but we will require that the all data be sanitized before sending. 

This is the process of removing sensitive information from a document or dataset so that it may be distributed to a broader audience. Any information that is Personal Identifying Information (PII) will not be accepted, unless it is fictional data.  PII data includes but not limited to name, address, and Social Security number.

There is an old saying, “nothing is for free.” This still holds true for us. Although we will not require monetary compensation, we may ask you to provide a reference for the team member whom provided you with your solution(s).  Our team members are building credentials.  Some are up and comers, while other's have the talent, but not the professional references.  There are no better credentials then a satisfied customer. 

The short answer is, “No.”  Our developers are mostly volunteers. This means they do have other commitments. Once we know what your needs are, we will evaluate approximately how many hours it will take to complete. We will then provide an approximated completion date. Although we understand that many needs have some urgency, we will not comprise quality for expediency. If we cannot meet your needs for whatever reason, we will be upfront to communicate that and look forward for another opportunity to serve you. 

Since Covid-19, our world has changed. Our team members work remotely. Almost all our work is completed virtually. We will work with a member of your organization to be our eyes and ears on-site. If other accommodations are needed, they can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
